If elected Mayor, my commitment will be to keep annual increases in the portion of the municipal tax levy that Bonfield Council controls at or below the rate of inflation, while continuing to invest responsibly in the infrastructure and services our community depends on.

• Finding efficiencies and ensuring taxpayer dollars provide value.

Bonfield’s infrastructure challenges did not happen overnight, and they will not be solved overnight. They require a long-term plan, consistent investment, and responsible decision-making.

• Continuing the implementation of our Road Needs Study and Asset Management Plan.

• Prioritizing roads based on condition, safety, lifecycle costs, and value for taxpayers.

• Continuing investments in gravel rehabilitation, paving, drainage, and maintenance.

• Addressing our infrastructure deficit rather than continuing to defer important work.

 

Over the last four years, we have changed the direction of infrastructure investment in Bonfield. My commitment is to continue moving forward with a plan that protects our roads, assets, and taxpayers for the future.

Our volunteer firefighters are there when our community needs them most. They deserve the equipment, training, and resources necessary to respond safely and effectively.
